Chop the onion, red bell pepper, and garlic cloves.
In a large skillet, heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until it is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, transfer the beef to a plate and set it aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining teaspoon of olive oil. Add the chopped onion and red bell pepper. Sauté until they are softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the chopped garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Return the cooked ground beef to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Stir to combine.
Pour in the all-natural tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, and pure maple syrup. Season with sea salt and ground black pepper. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld together and the sauce to thicken slightly.
Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning if needed. You can add more salt, pepper, hot sauce, or maple syrup according to your taste preferences.
