In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Add the runny nut butter to the mashed bananas and mix until well combined.
Crack in the eggs and beat them into the banana-nut butter mixture until smooth.
Incorporate the chocolate protein powder (or cocoa powder) into the mixture, stirring until evenly distributed.
Pour in the maple syrup and mix well.
Add the baking soda and a pinch of salt to the batter, stirring until everything is fully combined.
If desired, fold in chocolate chips into the batter according to your preference.
Pour the batter into the prepared pyrex dish, spreading it out evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 minutes.
Once done, remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool in the dish for a few minutes before slicing into squares and serving.
