Honey Balsamic Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes

Instructions

  • 1. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts.
  • 2. Halve them and give them a good rinse.
  • 3. In a large bowl, toss the prepped Brussels sprouts with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • 4. Add a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper, ensuring each sprout is well coated.
  • 5. Place the Brussels sprouts in the air fryer.
  • 6. Set the temperature to 400°F and cook for approximately 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • 7. In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine 2 tablespoons of honey and 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar.
  • 8. Allow the mixture to come to a rapid simmer for about 2-3 minutes, whisking frequently.
  • 9. Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of red chili flakes into the glaze.
  • 10. Whisk everything together until well combined.
  • 11. Once the Brussels sprouts are perfectly cooked and crispy, transfer them to a bowl.
  • 12. Drizzle the honey balsamic glaze over the warm Brussels sprouts.
  • 13. Give them a gentle toss to ensure every sprout is coated in the glaze.
