What I Eat in a Day

Weight loss can be a challenging journey, but with determination and the right diet, it’s achievable. In this blog post, I’ll share a glimpse of what my daily meals look like as I work towards shedding those postpartum pounds. 

MY Routine

My weight loss journey starts early in the morning, as I firmly believe in the benefits of a pre-workout routine. I find that exercising first thing in the morning sets a positive tone for the rest of the day. After all, consistency is key. 

Pre-Workout Drink

I kickstart my day with a pre-workout supplement. It provides me with the energy and focus I need to power through my morning exercise routine.

High-Protein Shake

Following my workout, I refueled with a high-protein shake. It helps repair my muscles and keeps me feeling satisfied until breakfast.


For breakfast today, I decided to prepare a nutritious and delicious meal that keeps me energized and ready for the day ahead.

Pumpkin Protein Waffles 

These waffles are a lifesaver in my postpartum weight loss journey. They are made with just three ingredients, keeping it simple and healthy. I love to top them with fresh fruit and a drizzle of pure maple syrup for a touch of sweetness.

Greens with Fruit and Lemon Poppyseed Dressing

To balance out the sweetness of the waffles, I pair them with a side of greens topped with fruit and my homemade lemon poppyseed dressing. It’s a delightful combination of flavors and textures.


Lunchtime calls for something filling and nutritious. Today’s lunch is both satisfying and guilt-free.

Strawberry Summer Salad

A bed of fresh greens, strawberries, and a handful of nuts creates a refreshing and vibrant salad. It’s a perfect way to incorporate more fruits and veggies into my diet.

Airfryer Chicken Thighs

I prepare the chicken using my trusty air fryer, ensuring it’s super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It’s a protein-packed addition to my salad that keeps me full for hours.


As the day winds down, I opt for a lighter yet flavorful dinner option.

Shrimp Salad

My shrimp salad is a delightful mix of succulent shrimp, crisp greens, and creamy avocado. It’s a low-calorie and high-protein meal that satisfies my taste buds.

Strawberry Balsamic Vinaigrette

To add a burst of flavor, I drizzle my homemade strawberry balsamic vinaigrette over the salad. It’s a sweet and tangy dressing that elevates the dish.

Evening Treat

After a day of nutritious meals, I like to wind down with a refreshing and health-conscious evening drink.

Mocktail of Spindrift and Magnesium:

To relax and ensure I’m meeting my mineral needs, I enjoy a mocktail made with Spindrift and a magnesium supplement.


Staying hydrated is a vital part of my weight loss journey. Throughout the day, I make sure to drink plenty of water. Today, I managed to consume 160 ounces, which is equivalent to four 4-ounce Stanley Cups. Hydration is essential for overall health and supports my weight loss efforts.

My postpartum weight loss journey has been a rewarding experience, and these daily meals play a significant role in my success. Balancing nutritious and delicious foods, along with regular exercise, has helped me shed those extra pounds. Remember, it’s all about making sustainable choices that work for your body and lifestyle. If I can do it, so can you!
