WEIGHT LOSS POSTPARTUM
-
YOU NEED TO WAIT 6-8 WEEKS FOR YOUR BODY TO RECOVER BEFORE STARTING TO LOSE WEIGHT
Once you have approval from your doctor, you can safely lose 1-2 pounds per week without affecting your milk supply if you are breast feeding
-
EMBRACE THE SCALE
The first 6-8weeks, don’t worry about the number on the scale. You need to focus on your baby and getting enough sleep. Then moving forward if you are breastfeeding, try to weigh yourself after you have breastfed and pumped in the morning for the most accurate weight. But as you are drinking and eating, your weight will constantly fluctuate each day. Be patient with yourself and the scale at this time.

EXERCISE
Once your doctor clears you, you should start to exercise. Check out BOD and find the workout that is right for you! At the very least, try to do a daily walk with your baby so you get some exercise and some sunshine too! Some suggestions:
1) Pre & PostNatal Barre Blend Program
2) PostNatal Yoga
3) Any Beginner Program on BOD
