Twix Bites

I used to sabotage my weight loss by setting unrealistic meal plans, like trying to stick to 1200 calories a day. When I inevitably gave in to hunger, I felt like a failure and thought weight loss was impossible. The key is to be realistic and include treats in your meal plan.

It’s not the occasional treat that prevents weight loss; it’s overeating them, which often happens when you feel deprived. Knowing you have something enjoyable to look forward to helps maintain balance and prevents that downward spiral.
