The dials make this easy to use, no digital buttons, the glass front lets you see what’s happening to be able to gauge the cook time – you get a nice crisp and a fast cook!
Instructions:
- Cut off ends of FRESH green beans
- Season with a light mist of avocado oil spray and sprinkle on a generous pinch of garlic powder and a light dusting of salt.
- Air-Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 200 degrees Celsius). Once heated, place the seasoned green beans into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding, as this ensures even cooking and optimal crispness.
- Set the timer for around 12 minutes. Halfway through the cooking time, pause the air fryer and give the basket a gentle shake. This prevents the beans from sticking together and allows them to cook evenly.
- Plate them up as a side dish to your main course (See my Garlic Butter Steak Bites!) or serve them as a tempting snack.
Recipe Variations/Additions:
Cheesy Twist:
- After seasoning the green beans with garlic powder and salt, sprinkle them with grated Parmesan cheese before air-frying.
- The cheese will melt and form a delicious crispy coating on the beans, adding a savory and indulgent touch to the dish.
Spicy Kick:
- Mix a pinch of red pepper flakes or chili powder with the garlic powder and salt before seasoning the green beans.
- This adds a spicy kick to the beans, elevating their flavor profile with a hint of heat.
Citrus Infusion:
- Before seasoning the green beans, zest a lemon or lime over them to infuse them with citrusy freshness.
- The citrus zest adds brightness to the dish, balancing out the savory flavors of the garlic and salt with a refreshing tang.

Instructions
- 1. Begin by selecting fresh green beans. Wash them thoroughly and trim off the ends.
- 2. Season: Lay out the washed and trimmed green beans on a flat surface. Give them a light mist of avocado oil spray. This not only adds a touch of healthy fat but also helps the seasonings adhere. Sprinkle on a generous pinch of garlic powder and a light dusting of salt.
- 3. Air-Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 200 degrees Celsius). Once heated, place the seasoned green beans into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding, as this ensures even cooking and optimal crispness.
- 4. Set the timer for around 12 minutes. Halfway through the cooking time, pause the air fryer and give the basket a gentle shake. This prevents the beans from sticking together and allows them to cook evenly. The result? Green beans that are perfectly crisp on the outside and delightfully tender on the inside.
- 5. Once cooked, plate them up as a side dish to your main course (See my Garlic Steak Bites below!) or serve them as a tempting snack.
