- Self-Cleaning: With a drop of dish soap and warm water, your Vitamix machine can clean itself in 30 to 60 seconds
KEY INGREDIENT NOTES
Blueberries: Opt for fresh or frozen blueberries. They provide antioxidants and natural sweetness to the smoothie. Look for plump, juicy blueberries for the best flavor. I actually do love frozen berries! They’re picked at the height of freshness and frozen within 24 hours, these Wild Blueberries are available in a convenient resealable bag and are what I keep on hand.
Banana: Using frozen banana adds creaminess and sweetness to the smoothie. It’s also a great source of potassium and fiber.
Almond Milk: Almond milk adds creaminess to the smoothie while keeping it dairy-free. Feel free to use your preferred nut milk or even regular milk if you prefer.
Tropical Strawberry Shakeology: This vegan protein powder adds a delicious strawberry flavor and a boost of protein to the smoothie. It’s formulated with a blend of vitamins, minerals, and superfoods, making it a nutritious addition to your morning routine.
Optional Additions: You can customize your smoothie by adding additional ingredients such as spinach for extra greens, chia seeds for added fiber, or a spoonful of nut butter for richness and protein.
Recipe Swaps
- Substitute with other berries such as strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries for a different flavor profile.
- If you’re not a fan of bananas you can substitute with half an avocado for creaminess and healthy fats, or even frozen cauliflower rice!
- For a tropical twist, use frozen chunks of mango or pineapple instead of banana.
